The NETLINK 424 network Test Responder provides an answer base for test calls originated from the NETLINK instruments, and can also be used to generate test calls for network verification and fault finding.

NETLINK 424 Responders can be portable or mounted in telephone exchanges, customer premises or other strategic locations to support routine field testing, fault finding or network verification regulatory test regimes.

The NETLINK Responders can be deployed in unattended stand-alone configuration, or connected to a computer network running EDL COMLINK ® software to provide an automatic database of network test results.

The NETLINK 424 Responders can be used simply to support field-based testers, or also in conjunction with EDL COMLINK software to provide point-to-point Test Call System functions.

Depending on Test Call traffic, each Responder can typically support 30 to 50 field based testers with negligible congestion.

Naturally, the NETLINK 424 Network Test Responders support the same broad range of network test capabilities as the NETLINK 423 Testers.
